The Mindray WATO EX-55 Pro anesthesia machine is a modular expert-level anesthesia system designed to provide safe, precise, and cost-effective anesthesia. The device is equipped with a large touch display, electronic flowmeters, and a unique flow optimizer function, which is a key advantage for safely conducting low-flow anesthesia and effectively using anesthetics, particularly sevoflurane. The device is ideal for modern operating rooms, offering advanced monitoring and a high degree of automation.

  • Electronic flowmeters and flow optimizer: Electronic flowmeters ensure precise mixing of the respiratory mixture. The flow optimizer is a software algorithm that calculates the optimal gas flow in real-time, taking into account oxygenation indicators and CO2 levels. This provides a balance between safety and economic efficiency, optimizing sevoflurane costs.
  • Advanced ventilation modes: Supports a full range of controlled and assisted ventilation modes, including VCV, PCV, SIMV-VC, SIMV-PC, PCV-VG.
  • Monitoring depth of anesthesia: Ability to use the BIS module (from Covidien/Medtronic) to assess the depth of anesthesia and sedation based on EEG activity, which is the first step toward personalized anesthesia and prevents under- and overdosing of anesthetics.

  • Ergonomics and convenience: The device is equipped with a braking system, three drawers with a locking system, and LED lighting for the workspace. The patient breathing circuit for adults is reusable.
  • Reliable autonomy: The built-in battery module provides up to 150 minutes of uninterrupted operation.
  • Additional O2 outlet: Availability of an additional oxygen outlet for nasal cannulas, as well as an aspiration system for the anesthesiologist.
  • Ease of maintenance: The flow sensors for inhalation/exhalation are autoclavable.
